RACE LIMITS

The Championship will be judged according to the European competition rules.
The race will be held on one course.

Straight and crooked course: First round and final, the first half of the rabbits in the first round and the rabbits with the same number of faults as the last rabbit in the first half will advance to the final. The sum of the errors from both runs and the time from the final run will count towards the final result.

High jump: Initial height 50 cm, increasing in 10 cm increments up to 70 cm and then in 5 cm increments.

Long jump: Initial length 100 cm, increasing in 20 cm increments up to 200 cm and then in 10 cm increments.

Track conditions

The track area will be 60 x 20 m. The surface will be covered with carpet.

Conditions of participation

The number of starts will be divided according to quotas (the number of club members decides). A total of 700 starts will be distributed. Qualifications are determined by each country.


REGISTRATION

Completed registration forms will be sent electronically by the representative of the country to me@kralicihop.eu for all competitors who will represent them. Entries sent separately will not be accepted.

The deadline for applications is 25. 9. 2022.

START FEE

The fee for one start is 8 €.

Start fee includes: rabbit vet check, qualified evaluation of the performance, free entry for competitor, participation package.

Payment for starts and accommodation of rabbits of the whole country will be sent by the representative of the country to the bank account by 30 September 2022. Instructions for payment of the entry fee will be sent to the representative of the country after receipt of registration forms.

Applications are valid upon receipt of the full representation fee.


INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS

Accommodation

Accommodation is not included in the entry fee and is not yet guaranteed. We are trying to arrange convenient group accommodation. We will be informed about its availability in October.

If you don’t want to wait to book your accommodation, you can use Booking or other platforms.

Accommodation is provided for the referees in Inter Hostel Liberec (9 km from the hall).

Please note that most properties do not allow pets. Rabbits are of course allowed to stay in the sports hall overnight.

Veterinary check

All rabbits participating in the championship must pass a veterinary check at a predetermined time. Rabbits not competing must also pass the inspection. The price for the inspection of this rabbit will be 2 € / 50 CZK, payments will be accepted in cash. Other animals (e.g. dogs) are not allowed in the hall.

Food options

The City Sports Hall, where the championships are held, is home to the restaurant Městská hala. Here you can have lunch and dinner. Traditional Czech food is served here. There are stores (e.g. Tesco) and other other restaurants in the vicinity of the hall.

In Jablonec nad Nisou it is also possible to use food delivery, e.g. Dámejídlo.cz app.

Parking

There is a parking lot in front of the sports hall with enough parking spaces for all participants. Parking is free of charge.

The concept of championship

  • The championship is held as a separate event, it is not part of any other event.
  • Audience – The event is open to the public. Spectators will be seated in the stands.
  • Moderator – The Championship is commentated by an experienced rabbit hop moderator (between rabbit runs).
  • Music – Reproduced music is playing at all times.
  • Media – Photographers and cameramen can move around the sports area.
